—
Step 2
Click “Configure”
—
Step 3
Select the organization on which to install the GitHub app from the list.
—
Step 4
Review the requested permissions, and choose whether to install on all organization repositories, or hand pick them by selecting “Only select repositories”.
Click “Save”.
—
Step 5 [optional]
The Qodo Merge (formerly PR-Agent) GitHub app you’ve just installed enables a handful of customization options for almost of its commands!
For example, two commands (/review
and /describe
) are set to run automatically by default when using the app, and you can change that, of course.
See the default configurations here in the [github_app]
section.
The configuration can be done globally or repo-specific.
‣ repo-specific: via a configuration per repo — read here.
‣ globally for all the org: via a global configuration — read here.
These options are not mutually exclusive.
You can set the global configuration for all repos, and then override locally if needed.
e.g. maybe different configs for different teams, according to different best practices and flavors
—
Step 6
Start using the Qodo Merge (formerly PR-Agent) in your pull-request conversations or running automatically by setting your configurations as mentioned in the previous step.
Enjoy!
At Qodo (formerly Codium), we are here to empower you to code & merge with confidence.
